The 2nd Annual Maranatha 5K raises $23,597.99 for SeminariansThe CSA presented Archbishop Rodi with a check for the proceeds of the Maranatha 5K - the total amount raised to go towards the education of our Archdiocesan seminarians was $23,597.99! This brings the 2-year total for the Maranatha 5K to $47,105.98! Thank you to all who sponsored, volunteered, and participated in this year's race! Mark your calendars for next year's race: March 15, 2014.

What is the Maranatha 5K Race and Fun Run?
The Maranatha 5K Race/Walk and Fun Run to raise awareness for priestly vocations and to assist with the cost of educating our Archdiocesan Seminarians. This event is put together through the University of South Alabama's Catholic Student Association, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Mobile's Vocation Office. It will be on March 15, 2014 - and we are depending on your help!

Zumba Fitness®
Wendy and Renee have been with us the past two years for our 5K! They are licensed Zumba Fitness® Instructors who come to start the party and warm everyone up with exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness! And they keep the party going after the race too!

What was the inspiration?
USA's Catholic Student Association currently has 3 former members in the Seminary, and 2 former members were ordained Priests for the Archdiocese in 2010. This event is run by the students and is an awesome way to connect the Archdiocesan community, raise awareness for priestly vocations, raise financial support for the education of our Archdiocesan seminarians, and to actively unite for the greater glory of God!Race Info:
